Abstract

In recent years, the universities recruited a lot of young teachers, their general knowledge level is high, but they lack teaching experience and teaching ability. This paper discussed the core competency index for young college teachers' teaching ability, and established an evaluation system based on the index. Using this system, we may carry on the investigation in the young college teachers' teaching ability, in order to understand the actual situation of teaching ability of young teachers, set up a goal and direction for the young teachers to improve their teaching ability, and stabilize and/or promote teaching quality of colleges and universities.
