Abstract
Objective To understand the prevalence and related factors for suicidal ideation in college students of Foshan University to provide a scientific basis for school suicide prevention. Methods 632 college students at Foshan University were selected using stratified random cluster sampling. Factors associated with suicidal ideation were analyzed by Common condition, Suicide behavior and related factors, Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS), Adolescent Self-Rate Life Events Check List (ASLEC). Results 9.9% of respondents had suicide ideation in the latest year. Studying pres-sure,experience of punishment and abuse, negative life event are the risk factors of suicide idea. Social support is a protective factor. Conclusions There is high prevalence of suicide idea among these college students in the latest year. Colleges should establish a full range of psychological crisis intervention system.关键词
