大学生英语写作用词（句）的性别差异分析

摘要
Abstract
This paper makes an analysis on the differences in the usage of phrases, adjectives, adverbs, conjunc-tions and compound sentences in writing for sophomores (40 males, 40 females). The results show that the variable coefficient of the usage of adjectives is the maximum with 0.75, indicating there are significant individual differences. The female students significantly outperformed their male counterparts in both various kinds of vocabularies and com-pound sentences. Meanwhile, the difference ratio of the adverbs, conjunctions and adjectives used by females and males is larger. This study attempts to provide the scientific reference for the teaching according to one's aptitude, reasonable English teaching strategy and the improvement of English teaching level.关键词
