Effect of atorvastatin combined with probucol on lipid metabolism in patients with acute cerebral infarction

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of atorvastatin combined with probucol on lipid metabolism in patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI).Methods 80 cases of ACI in our hospital from April 2012 to January 2015 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, 40 cases in each group.Patients in control group were given atorvastatin for oral administration, patients in experimental group were given probucol on the basis of control group.Compared the levels of TC, TG, LDL-C and HDL-C of two groups before and after treatment.Results There were statistically significant differences in the levels ofTC, TG, LDL-C and HDL-C before and after treatment in both two groups (P＜0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the levels of TC, TG, LDL-C and HDL-C after treatment between two groups (P＜0.01).Conclusion Atorvastatin combined with probucol has significant effect on lipid metabolism in patients with ACI, worthy of clinical application.关键词
