Abstract
Myosin heavy chain(MyHC) is an important structural component of muscle fiber which is crucial for muscle force generation. There are different MyHC isoforms and each isoform has its own biological and mechanical properties. Masticatory muscles are involved in many biological activities. Therefore, the MyHC isoforms would trans-form mutually to adapt to those complicated muscle force requirements. This review will conclude influencing factors and molecular mechanisms of masticatory muscle MyHC isoform transformation.关键词
