Application of vertical flow weighted method in calculating mean sediment concentration in section
摘要
Abstract
Calculating mean sediment concentration in section by measuring suspended sediment discharge con-forms to partial flow weighted method. According to this principle,a formula is derived for directly calculating the mean sediment concentration in section with the flow weighted factor and the mean sediment concentration corre-sponding to the vertical. This method is a solution for suspended sediment discharge measurement not in synchro-nous with flow measuring. The results of test demonstrate that each error index conforms to accuracy requirement of specifications when applying flow weighted method to calculate mean sediment concentration in section.关键词
