Abstract
Objective To detect the characteristics of changes of neurotransmitter in different regions of the schizophrenics′brain with encephalofluctuograph(EFG),and explore its clinical significance in the treatment of schizophrenia. Methods Thirty-nine patients with schizophrenia(case group) and forty-nine normal controls(control group) were detected for encephaloelectrical power signals in different regions of the schizophrenics′brain with EFG,and the characteristics of changes of neurotransmitter in different parts of the schizophrenics′brain were analyzed.Results The powers of excitatory neurotransmitter 3,5-HT,Ach,excitatory neurotransmitter 6,NE,DA,inhibitory neurotransmitter 13 in the left and right frontal region,around the central,left and right anterior temporal of case group were significantly higher than those of control group (P<0.05). The relative power of Glu in the left and right occipital region of case group was significantly higher than that of control group,and the relative power of GABA in right occipital region of case group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion It involves different regions of brain such as temporal region ,frontal lobe,central region which may cause the dysfunction of brain in patients with schizophrenia .关键词
