Abstract
Pichen Lee took up the advocacy of the animal protection movement in her middle age. By disseminating the concept of anti-slaughter,becoming a vegan, and translating the Sutras of the Buddha. she become a bridge of communication between eastern and western communities of the movement. In 1930’s,China was in turmoil. Based on this background, this article focuses on her action of advocating anti-slaughter and the movement of animal protection, and analying the meaning in epoch.关键词
