Sensitivity analysis of hydrodynamic derivatives for ship maneuvering

摘要

Abstract

The sensitivity analysis of ship hydrodynamic derivatives was used to evaluate the influence of the varia⁃tion in hydrodynamic derivatives on ship maneuvering motion. A direct method for analyzing the sensitivity of hydro⁃dynamic derivatives was proposed according to the mathematical model. Sensitivity of 40 viscous derivatives in Abkowitz model was calculated via 15°/15°zigzag test simulated with Mariner class vessel, and the maneuvering model was simplified based on the sensitivity analysis. By comparing the simulation results of 20°/20°zigzag test ob⁃tained by the simplified model and the original model, the proposed method for sensitivity analysis of hydrodynamic derivatives was validated.
