Effects of Airborne Early Warning Radar's Detection Range on Radar's Detection Effectiveness
摘要
Abstract
The airborne early warning radar's detection effectiveness tends to be affected by its detection range as well as its detection probability. A method of evaluating detection effectiveness is given based on probability analysis method,and the probability distribution function of detection effectiveness is obtained based on the detection probability density function. Thereby the mapping relationship between detection range, detection probability and detection effectiveness is established. Finally, an analytical calculation is made, with E-2C and E-3B early warning radars as examples, so as to verify the validity of the method.关键词
