Abstract
Objective To investigate the prognosis of the colorectal cancer complicated with stroke and analyze the possibly affected factors to provide the evidence of prognostic interventions .Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 119 cases with colorectal cancer and stroke;10 related clinical indicators including tumor location ,serum tumor markers , stroke type and so on were selected to research the clinical data according to Kaplan‐Meier univariate analysis and multivariate analysis by COX non‐proportional hazards model .Results 23 patients survived ,the rest died and the overall survival lifetime ranged from 2 months to 76 months ,with a median survival lifetime of 27 months .The 1‐,3‐,and 5‐year survival rate were 60 .13% ,39 .56% ,14 .71% .The result of Kaplan‐Meier univariate analysis revealed the statistically significant prognostic fac‐tors in patients with colorectal cancer and stroke including stroke type ,the value of total protein ,CEA ,histological type ,re‐gional lymph node metastasis ,Dukes staging and whether metastasis or not ,etc .Multivariate analysis by COX non‐proportional hazards model in this study further evidenced that the independent factors of prognosis included stroke type ,liver metastases , regional lymph nodes and Dukes staging .Conclusion The prognosis in patients with colorectal cancer and stroke can be closely related to stroke type ,liver metastases ,regional lymph nodes and Dukes staging ,which should be sufficiently considered when clinical treatment and therapeutic strategy are evaluated .关键词
