摘要

Abstract

〔Abstract〕 Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is the most important diseases of urinary system in middle-aged males, and its main clinical manifestations is urinary tract symptoms, which has serious impact on life quality of patients. In recent years, the effects of anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative stress of COX-2/Nrf2 signaling pathway were demonstrated. The cell biological mechanisms of inflammation and oxidative stress in the development of BPH has been elucidated. Based on the COX-2/Nrf2 signal pathway, the research of Chinese medicine prevention and treatment of BPH get the attention of us. This paper elaborates the progress of COX-2/Nrf2 signaling pathway in the prevention and treatment of BPH.
