针灸治疗骨质疏松性腰椎压缩性骨折23例临床观察
Effect of Acupuncture on Osteoporosis Vertebral Compression Fracture：A Clinical Observation of 23 Cases

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of acupuncture on osteoporosis vertebral compression fracture. Methods: 48 patients with osteoporosis vertebral compression fracture were randomly divided into a treatment group and control group; the patients in the treatment group were treated with routine treatment of osteoporosis as well as acupuncture, and patients in the control group were given routine treatment of osteoporosis. The chang of pain visual analogue score(VAS) and bone mineral density was observed, before and after treatment, to evaluate the therapeutic effect. Results: The total treatment efficiency were 91.0% and 84.0%, respectively in treatment group and the control group , and the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05). The VAS and bone density in both two groups were better after treatment (P<0.05), and the improvement in treatment group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with routine treatment of osteoporosis can provide better effect on osteoporosis vertebral compression fracture, with delay of bone loss .关键词
