摘要
Abstract
There are some problems in currently existing image compression algorithm, such as bad compression efficiency and high cost. Although many new image compression algorithms has been put forward in recent years, these above problems are still existent. In view of this condition, an image compression algorithm based on wavelet transform adapted the human visual characteristics is presented in this paper. Furthermore, high efficiency and universality have also been considered. According to the analysis of SPIHT algorithm, DPCM encoding method and human visual characteristics, three effects can be implemented, which include image classification processing, edge optimization in visual sensitivity region and reducing unnecessary coding. The experiments indicate that these purposes can be realized. Moreover, this method has the advantages, low time-consuming and high accuracy market advantage.关键词
