摘要

Abstract

Aiming at the problem of estimating doppler frequency of underwater high‐speed small target ,based on the principle of ESPRIT algorithm ,an improved ESPRIT algorithm is put forward .By the time delay data of target echo signal , two sub‐arrays with the same array shape are constructed .A matrix pencil is constructed by the cross covariance matrix of the two sub‐arrays .By means of generalized eigen‐decomposition of the matrix pencil ,the doppler frequency of underwater high‐speed small target can be obtained .Compared with standard ESPRIT algorithm ,the improved ESPRIT algorithm does not need to do eigen‐decomposition of auto‐covariance matrix ,thus has lower computational complexity .The simulation re‐sults show that the proposed method is effective for estimating doppler frequency of underwater high‐speed small target .
