Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of STD and AIDS health education in primary and secondary school stu-dents. Methods 6000 cases of primary and secondary school students from our city were selected.Knowledge,attitude and behavior about STD and AIDS were investigated to explore the effect of AIDS health education. Results After health education,the knowing rate about routing of transmission of STD and AIDS increased among students (P<0.01). Measures,liked no taking drugs,not having premarital sex,using condoms,avoiding blood transfusions or avoid using blood product and to cure STD as soon as possible,had understood more than before education (P<0.01).The students’attitude about STD and AIDS had significantly changed (P<0.05).Medical carebehavior had increased after health edu-cation with significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion It is increasing knowing rate and setting up the correct attitude about STD and AIDS by carrying out AIDS health education in primary and secondary school students.关键词
