摘要
Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of interlocking intramedullary nail and external fixation in the treatment of tibial and fibula fractures. Methods Eighty-six patients with fractures of the tibia and fibula admitted into our hospital from November 2012 to November 2014 were selected and evenly divided into control group and treatment group in random. In the control group, external fixation was used in the treatment, while in the treatment group, interlocking intramedullary nailing was adopted for the therapy. The operative therapeutic effect, operation time, hospital stay after surgery, time of physiological function of tibia and fibula returning to be normal after surgery, number of cases occurred with adverse reactions during perioperative period, and improvement of visual analogue scale (VAS) before and after surgery between two groups was compared respectively. Results In the treatment group, operation time on fractures, hospital stay after surgery, and time of physiological function of tibia and fibula returning to be normal after surgery was greatly shorter in comparison with that in control group respectively, with statistical differences (P<0.05).The treatment effect of treatment group was significantly better than control group, with statistical differences(P<0.05).Number of cases occurred with adverse reactions of treatment group was much less than that in control group, with a statistical difference(P<0.05). The improvement degree of VAS before and after surgery in treatment group was more obviously than that in control group, with a statistical difference (P<0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of fractures of tibia and fibula, application of interlocking intramedullary nail can obtain a remarkable effect in clinic.关键词
