Abstract
Objective:To study the retired elderly mental health and social support ,and their correla-tion.Methods:This study selected 205 elderly people as research subjects in April 2013-2014 June con-valescent center in Qingdao sanatorium ,gathered general information ,assessed the mental health and so-cial support.Results:Different age(F=2.655,P<0.05),marital status(t=1.991,P<0.05),living conditions(t=2.335,P<0.05),self-rated health status(F=3.063,P<0.05)and children aspects of the relationship(t=2.236,P<0.05)significantly affected the presence of the elderly mental health;So-cial support score for the elderly were significantly affected by different age (F=3.187,P<0.05),edu-cational level(F=5.189,P<0.05),marital status(t=1.983,P<0.05),self-rated health status(F=3.97,P<0.05)and child relationship(t=2.749,P<0.05).Subjective support,objective support and utilization degree in three dimensions had significant relevance with age -related mental health , depres-sion,anxiety,obsessive-compulsive symptoms and scores .Conclusion:It is needed to build an effective social support system ,and strengthen the concern from the subjective and objective aspeets and support the use of degree angles to the elderly ,which can relieve depression ,anxiety and other symptoms .关键词
