Abstract
Objective To understand the infectious diseases literacy of the undergraduate interns of grade 3 & level A hospitals in Hangzhou so as to obtain scientific knowledge for future health education.Method The undergraduate interns of three provincial grade 3 & level A hospitals and three municipal grade 3 & level A hospitals in Hangzhou were asked to answer the questionnaire designated for the survey.Findings The rate of the interns possessing the literacy of infectious diseases was 13.3 percent.The rate of possession of knowledge of infectious diseases, the rate of possession of behavioral literacy, and the rate of possession of skills for dealing with infectious diseases was 61.5 percent, 85.5 percent and 27.2 percent respectively.Difference in gender, discipline, and length of internship engendered difference in the above rates( P<0.05).Conclusion The level of literacy of infectious diseases of the undergraduate interns from grade 3 & level A hospitals in Hangzhou is low.The focus of training for the interns should be laid on practical skills and knowledge of infectious disease prevention and on male students.关键词
