α硫辛酸对2型糖尿病牙周炎患者氧化应激及牙周临床指标的影响
Influence of α-lipoic acid on oxidative stress and periodontal clinical indexes in type 2 diabetic patients with periodontitis

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the influence of the antioxidant α-lipoic acid on oxidative stress and periodontal clinical indexes in type 2 diabetic patients with periodontitis.Methods:Sixty type 2 dia-betic patients with periodontitis were randomly divided into α-lipoic acid treatment group (α-lipoic acid group)and non α-lipoic acid treatment group (control group),30 cases in each group.The changes in the levels of MDA (malondialdehyde),SOD (superoxide dismutase),cytokine IL-6 (interleukin-6)and probing pocket depth (PD),sulcus bleeding index (SBI)and attachment loss (AL),the periodontal clinical indexes,were observed before and after the treatment.Results:The levels of MDA,IL-6,PD and SBI were significantly decreased after α-lipoic acid treatment (P <0.01,P <0.01,P <0.05 and P <0.05,respectively)whereas the level of SOD was significantly increased after α-lipoic acid treatment (P <0.01).There was no significant change in AL after α-lipoic acid treatment (P >0.05).There were no significant changes in the levels of MDA,SOD,PD and SBI in the control group after treatment (all P >0.05).Furthermore,there were significant decreases in the levels of MDA,IL-6,PD and SBI (all P <0.05)and significant increase in the level of SOD (P <0.05)in α-lipoic acid group compared to the control group after treatment.Conclusion:Treatment by α-lipoic acid can significantly ameliorate the periodontal lesion in type 2 diabetic patients with periodontitis by reducing the levels of oxidative stress and inflammation.关键词
