Abstract
ABSTRACT:Objective To investigate the influence of continuous nursing on the level of hope and quality of life after discharge in patients with gastric cancer.Methods A total of 60 gas-tric cancer patients with radical resection before hospital discharge were randomly divided into ob-servation group and control group.The control group was not treated after leaving the hospital, while the observation group was given continuous nursing.The level of hope and quality of life were compared between two groups.Results There were no significant differences in level of hope and quality of life at hospital discharge between the two groups (P >0.05).Scores of positive atti-tude,positive action,the close relationship and the overall score after 3 months in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0.05).Scores of life quality in aspects of emotional status,physiological status,social /family status after 3 months in the observa-tion group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P <0.05).Conclusion Con-tinuing nursing can improve the level of hope and quality of life in patients with gastric cancer after hospital discharge.关键词
