Development and application of an Abaqus based shear damper element
摘要
Abstract
An user-defined element (UEL)simulating a type of shear-yield metal damper is developed in FORTRAN language based on the Abaqus software.Through the comparision with other elements in Abaqus element liabrary,the validity of this UEL is proved,providing a reference in Abaqus secondary development.In comparison with the elements in Abaqus that could be used to simulate dampers,the input parameters of this UEL are simpler and more clear without repeating trial running,the hysteretic behavior is also better under dynamic analysis.A discussion of different elements that could be used to simulate the shear-yield metal damper in Abaqus is also conducted in this paper,offering a new way of damper simulation.关键词
