Abstract
Unlike the "Visiting Marriage"form of the Mosuo People living on Lugu Lakeside in Yongning, the Mosuo People in Labo, Xinyingpan and Daxing Town of Nilang County of Yunnan Province mostly adopt the monogamous marriage form.Similar to that of the Han People, the monogamous marriage of the Mosuo People must go through the procedures of engagement, wedding and "the bride's home-returning."However, as is influenced by the Daba religious tradition, the monogamous marriage form of the Mosuo People is featured with rich Mosuo characteristics.Owing to the tolerant attitudes of the Mosuo society to the choice of marriage form, the Mosuo youth may initiatively choose from one of three marriage forms based on their own ideological recognition, family background and life needs.Or they may even steer a course among the three forms of marriage.关键词
