An Overview of Radar System Based on Quantum Technology

摘要

Abstract

Quantum radar is a promising remote sensor that exploits quantum phenomena to perceive target information.By introducing quantum strategy into transmitter or/and receiver,its accuracy breaks the standard quantum limit,but still follows the Heisenberg uncertainty relation.The acquisition,transmission and processing of information are promoted by quantum theory greatly.In this paper,the concept and princi-ple of quantum radar,including quantum interferometry,quantum ladar,quantum illumination,are intro-duced in detail,as well as the development,classification and performance.Finally,the technological essen-tials and development direction are discussed from an engineering perspective.
