Electrodes immersion into Al-Cu melt mode in electric pulse modification
摘要
Abstract
In order to enhance the electric pulse modification effect, combining numerical simulation and experimental method, a new electrode immersing into melt mode was developed, which is different from the traditional mode. Study results show that the new electrode mode can directly import the potential into internal melt, largely reduce the surface effect that was caused by the ordinary electrode mode, significantly improve the potential and electric field distribution, and greatly increase the influence scope of EPM. In addition, electric field measurement device was designed which can endure high-temperature condition. The device can measure the electric field strength in the melt, and prove the model validity.关键词
