Rotation Vector Equations for AC-Motors Based on Complex Plane and Its Application in Teaching

Abstract
In order to illustrate the formation mechanism of the magnetic field of the rotating stators for AC-motors, the time-space unified rotation vector equations are proposed based on the complex plane in this paper. The mathematical derivation process of the rotating-vectors for the AC-motors such as voltage, current and flux linkage is analyzed in detail, and the physical significance of the rotating vectors is explained. Using the proposed rotating vector equations for the induction motor and the permanent magnet synchronous motor as examples, the working principle of the AC motors can be illustrated in simpler but more comprehensible ways.关键词
