摘要
Abstract
Pronunciation and Intonation in some way can reflect social status ,and in turn can be influenced by social status . This thesis analyses the relationship between English pronunciation ,intonation and social status from three aspects ,they are national divergence ,gender difference and social class difference .The arguments are exemplified with My Fair Lady .This study put forward useful references for interpersonal communication and for the proper use of language ,which therefore pro-motes cross-cultural communication .关键词
