Abstract
Objective To understand the influence of low back pain on orthopedics nurses’ work. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to survey orthopedics nurses from class III grade I general hospitals in Sichuan Province, who worked for over one year and ever felt low back pain. All data were analyzed by SPSS 17.0. Results In all, there were 186 lost working days per year because of low back pain, and the average lost working time was 0.36 day per person a year. Of the total, 56.0% of the nurses had no treatment for low back pain and 89.3% of them had not taken any sick leave, but 51.1% of them had thought about demission due to low back pain. Conclusion Low back pain exerts a certain impact on orthopedics nurses, which is not beneficial to the continuity and quality of nursing care.关键词
