Abstract
ABSTACT By the field research of Jingzhou ancient city wall and its external community, its development status were analyzed. This paper sums up the reasons for its slow development. By the analysis and interpretation of the organic renewal theory of Wu Liangyong, this paper suggests a new organic renewal theory. Through all kinds of analysis, this paper explores the theoretical basis for the development of the edge of ancient city, and final y through the instance of transformation of the Dongdi Street, it suggests a strategy of protection and improvement of the old community.关键词
