The Study of Climate-adaptable Model Scale of Space in Bamboo-house in Guangzhou

Abstract
The climate adaptability of traditional urban architecture is worth studying, especially in Guangzhou with hot-humid climate. Bamboo house is one of the typical building types in Guangzhou, and it has good adaptability to the hot-humid climate in summer, particularly with outstanding performance in building heat-reduction, natural ventilation and lighting. This paper tends to analyze the natural ventilation system of opening-path-patio in the Bamboo house, through the method of measuring and computer simulation. It finds that the scale of patio space is the core value in climate adaptability, and the reasonable range of the model scale of patio space is also testified.关键词
