Abstract
s This paper analyzes the properties of competitive intelligence as a factor of production, on this premise, an industry competi-tive intelligence demand model is built by the production theory in economics. The model shows the decrease of industry competitive intel-ligence cost brings the increase of the demand for industry competitive intelligence, and a following upgrading on the level of organization-al effectiveness. The cost function of industry competitive intelligence shows that, with an unchanged industry competitive intelligence sys-tem, the higher the matching level between the supply and demand for content and quantity of industry competitive intelligence, the lower the cost is. Therefore, the industry competitive intelligence should be provided according to their real demand and should be carefully tailor-made in content for different organizations.关键词
