摘要
Abstract
The paper is aimed at a preliminary analysis of the rise and development of Public Security Intelligence Studies in China. As for its rise and development, the era background is the security situation challenges in the information age, the practical basis lies in the devel-opment of public security intelligence effort based on the construction and application of public security informatization, and its theoretical basis is the development and influence of policing management philosophy, such as intelligence-led policing. The hallmark of its rise is the discipline establishment and education development. The fundamental connotation of Public Security Intelligence Studies is composed of research object, discipline foundation, theoretical foundation, methodological foundation, discipline attributes and research contents. In the past decade, Public Security Intelligence Studies has experienced a better and faster development in the areas of discipline and major construction, talents cultivation, basic scientific research, and exchange, cooperation and training. Finally, it is recommended to construct theory system of Public Security Intelligence Studies in China, establish the national society of Public Security Intelligence Studies, and publicly initiate academic periodicals of Public Security Intelligence Studies.关键词
