Abstract
Topography reflects the characteristics of the geological tectonic movement, which has influence and restriction on the basis of regional economic and social development. Based on the 1:250 000 TM remote sensing image data of the Lancang-Mekong area, the article makes a geomorphological classification research on the area. In the research the specially active new tectonic movement and characteristics of the microtopography, as well as the slope shape combined with the altitude, are considered, and a genetic type-causes form-physical form-slope form-microtopography form method is used to classify the landform types. Results from field survey have verified that the classification corresponds to the objective reality.关键词
