Spread, Influence, Development and Utilization of the Maritime Silk Road Culture in Leizhou
摘要
Abstract
As Leizhou is close to the sea and has many harbors, it was a necessary part of the Maritime Silk Road, In this paper, the extensive and profound spread of Maritime Silk Road Culture, and its great impact on agricultural land use, utensil and art making, traditional architecture, Buddhism-and Matsu-worshipping culture in Leizhou were presented and discussed. It was concluded that the features and style of today’s Leizhou culture, e.g. diversity, maritimity, openness, inclusiveness, adventurousness, etc. is a result of the influence of Maritime Silk Road Culture. Nowadays, the value of Leizhou’s cultural resources should be well recognized, fully explored, well integrated and appropriately utilized so as to serve the construction of the maritime part of the“One Belt One Road”project.关键词
