Comparison and Evaluation of Drainage Pattern and Connectivity in Zhengzhou City

Abstract
Selecting the river water system of the Zhengzhou City as study site,this paper compared drainage pattern and connectivity change of the river network before and after the ecological planning. The connectivity evaluation method was adopted based on graph theory. The river water system was simplified to a graph model,evaluated the water system connectivity after the ecological planning,and calculated the edge- connectivity. It selected a part of quantitative features and structural features which were on behalf of the drainage pattern characteristics to evaluate the drainage pattern. By contrasting,it is concluded that the connectivity of river water system has been greatly improved after the ecological planning. The results of the drainage pattern indicate in a marked rise,and the river network becomes connected. Moreover,the connectivity of river network stability is enhanced.关键词
