Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical significance of montelukast for cough variant asthma in children .Methods:140 children with confirmed CVA were divided into control group and observation group .The patients in control group were treated with Ketotifen and the patients in observation group were treated with montelukast .Results:The clinical significance of the patients in observation group were better than control group;the remission time of symptoms was shorter;the rate of side effects and relapse were lower;the time to recur-rence was later.There was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).There was little difference of the two groups of pa-tients with hospital costs(P>0.05).Conclusion:Children with cough variant asthma with the implementation of Montelukast used for chil -dren with cough variant asthma might be safe and effective ,it could be used as conventional medication .关键词
