摘要

Abstract

Based on the 2D flow model and velocity distribution equation applied in Xiyang, the particle trajectory of Xiyang, located in the region of radial sand ridges in the south Yellow Sea, was obtained by using the Lagrange particle tracer method, which was consistent with the trajectory of a GPS buoy thrown into this area. The results show that the maximal surface velocities are 3.5 m/s and 2.0 m/s at the flood and ebb tide respectively. The water particles move along the main channel primarily and shift in sand ridge zone, with the Lagrange residual current moving towards south.
