模因论视角下中医文化专有项英译策略研究
Analysis on Chinese-English translation strategies of cultural-specific items of TCM from the view angle of memetics
摘要
Abstract
Originating from biological evolutions,memetics is a new theory that interprets cultural evolution. This paper analyzes the Chinese-English translation strategies of memetics on cultural-specific items of TCM and points out that translators should adopt genotype- oriented translation strategy and phenotype-oriented translation strategies to deal with cultural-specific items of TCM according to different periods of culture transmissions and different needs of target readers. Only in this way can we ensure the real appearance of TCM culture and make readers in English-speaking countries accept TCM and exert positive influence of TCM.关键词
