摘要
Abstract
Mutual influence between Chinese classical furniture and Western classical furniture has a long history. Chinese classical furniture had had a remarkable impact on styles, techniques and design of Western classical furniture with the style of decorous, elegance and excelent workmanship during the Renaissance. It had also led a fashion trend of furniture design at that time. Meanwhile, Western classical furniture caused an influence for native Chinese furniture apparently and resulted in native furniture emerged new progress in their shape, detail, and categories due to Western classical furniture`s entering into China with the deepening cultural exchanges between East and West In dynasties of Ming and Qing. The paper takes historical culture as main clue to explore classical furniture style between China and Western countries by establishing a model for comparative study. The comparison between furniture in this paper is from many aspects, such as style, paint decoration, modeling, carving and other aspects. Enlightenment to modern design, similarities and differences of Classical furniture between Chinese and western in style, paint decoration and modeling are obtained in this paper. This paper aims to explore characteristics of beauty from interaction between Chinese and Western classical furniture design in order to give direction to the contemporary design.关键词
