视频脑电图对神经重症监护室意识障碍患者的应用
Application of video electroencephalography in unconsciousness patients in neurological intensive care unit

Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of video electroencephalogram (VEEG) in unconsciousness patients in neurological intensive care unit (NICU). Methods VEEG examination was carried out in 71 patients with disturbance of consciousness in NICU .The VEEG results were graded according to the Synek classification .The relationship between the VEEG results and patients'etiology and prognosis were analyzed . Results There were significant relationships between the VEEG grades and etiology (P=0.013) as well as the prognosis (P=0.000). 25.4% of all patients were found to have non-convulsive seizures, which was significantly related to the poor prognosis (P =0.016). Conclusion It was useful to examine the unconsciousness patients by VEEG for determination of diagnosis, decision of treatment, and prediction of prognosis .关键词
