An Empirical Research on the Income Gap between Urban and Rural Residents in Chongqing
摘要
Abstract
Focusing on the income gap between urban and rural areas in Chongqing , the paper studies the character-istics of the income gap by Theil index , absolute gap and the relative gap .In order to narrow the income gap , the paper proposes some countermeasures for developing the economy of rural areas , increasing fiscal spending on agri-culture , rural areas and farmers , reforming the household registration system , improving the rural social security system, creating more non-farm employment opportunities and developing rural education .关键词
