Abstract
According to current status and existing problems of monitoring for water resources protection in the Taihu lake valley, the essay provides an idea of an integrated sky-earth monitoring system for water resources protection in the Taihu lake valley based on the application of remote sensing at water environment monitoring. The system consists of network guarantee system, standard system, satellite-earth monitoring system, analysis and evaluation system, and early-warning system. The satellite-earth monitoring system offers monitoring measures of satellite remote-sensing imagery monitoring, automatic water quantity and quality station monitoring, conventional tour gauging and additional mobile gauging. Through a comparison between tour gauging data, automatic monitoring station data and analytic data from satellite remote-sensing images, water environment status distribution of the valley can be analogized. By using standard system to ensure data consistency, network guarantee system to ensure data integration, analysis and evaluation system to describe data utility, and early-warning system to predict and prevent future events based on monitoring data, an overall integrated monitoring is realized.关键词
