Abstract
To solve the problem of too long simulating time in thermal stress analysis of high concrete dam, a three-zone algorithm is proposed, which includes new concrete zone, transition zone and old con⁃crete zone. Relatively small time step is adopted in the new concrete zone while relatively larger time step is adopted in both the transition and old concrete zone. The influence of the temperature change in the new concrete zone on the deformation in the old concrete zone is studied by the finite element method. A formula is proposed to calculate depth impact coefficient,which is used to solve the critical problem of rea⁃sonable partitioning. Three-zone algorithm can not only save a lot of simulating time, but also ensure the calculation error within an acceptable limit.关键词
