Minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis for the treatment of distal tibial fracture

摘要
Abstract
Objactive To retrospective study the clinical outcomes of minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosyn-thesis for the treatment of distal tibial fracture. Methods From December 2007 to June 2010, 18 cases with distal tibial fractureswere treated with minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis. Results 18 cases were followed up for 3~16 months. All the patients were clinical healed, delayed union or non-union was not observed. According to the criteria of Tormetta/wruhs, the results were excellent in 10 cases, good in 4 cases and fair in 2 cases. Conclusions Minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis is an effective way for treatment of distal tibial fracture. It is simple to operate, reliable to fix, less wounded, low complications, wide applicability, etc.关键词
