Study on correlation between psychological resilience and self directed learning ability of undergraduate nursing students

Abstract
Objective:To know about the status quo of psychological resilience and self directed learning ability and the correlation between them,and provide references for enhancing the self directed learning abilities of nursing students.Methods:The sophomore undergraduate nursing students were surveyed by using convenience sampling method and Connor Davidson Resilience Scale(CD RISC)and the self directed learning instrument (SDLI).Results:The self directed learning ability score of nursing students was 3.54±0.45.The psychological resilience score was 2.69±0.42.The learning motivation,interpersonal communication,self directed learning ability and resilience of the extraversion nursing students were more powerful than that of the introversion students.There was no difference between psychological resilience and self directed learning ability of the students in different genders and the only child or not.The psychological resilience was positively correlated to self directed learning ability.The explanatory capacity of psychological resilience was 23.2% to self directed learning ability.Conclusion:The self directed learning ability and psychological resilience of undergraduate nursing students were poor,and the nursing educators should take the variety of methods to improve the nurs-ing students’resilience and then to promote the self directed learning ability,and cultivate the abilities of inde-pendent learning and lifelong learning of nursing students.关键词
