摘要

Abstract

Objective:To observe the effect on learning and memory ability of rats induced by electromag-netic wave irradiation and study the safety of bio-radar at 24GHz .Methods :The twenty SD rats were randomly di-vided into two groups ,named the controlled and the exposed group ,including 5 male and female SD rats in every group .The rats in exposed group were continuous radiated for 3d ,5d and 7d using the bio-radar with the output power density of 1mW/cm2 .Then their learning and memory abilities were tested by Morris water-maze .Results :The 3d-exposed and 7d-exposed had lower ability of during the learning task ,with a increased escape-latency and swam-distance comparing to the controlled rats in the first trial of training days .Moreover ,during the last spatial-memory test ,3d-exposed rats did not show the expected the preference in target quadrant ,while the controlled group showed the preference .Conclusion :Electromagnetic radiations at 24GHz has influenced the ability of learning and memory of rats ,which could be the result of instantaneous effects and accumulative effects .
