Abstract
In the polymerization process of high impact copolypropylene(hiPP),a cross-linker,1.9-decadine,was introduced in the ethylene/propylene copolymerization,which led to a simultaneous cross-linking of the generated ethylene-propylene rubber(EPR) with hiPP. The composition of EPR cross-linked hiPP,gel content and dispersion of hiPP in EPR were investigated by means of FTIR, SEM and TEM. The results showed that,when the EPR cross-linking occurred, its flowability was reduced and hence EPR was stably dispersed in PP particles highly homogeneously. It was indicated that the catalyst fragments did not migrated in the polymerization process. The EPR migration resulted in its aggregation in pores inside PP particles. The content of EPR could be increased further without the aggregation of PP particles and the adherence on the reactor wall.关键词
