ACase Study of the Regulation ofAuthor Number Cataloging for Networks - Taking Henan Normal University as an Example

Abstract
Some writers have strange pseudonyms when writing books, which leads to difficulties to library cataloguers. An author number for the same author may differ from each other in different libraries; errors of library cataloguers result in inconsistency in author numbers; the same author has different pseudonyms etc.Universal Chinese Author Number Table and other categorizing rules have their own advantages and disadvantages. In order to regulate author name number categorizing, it's necessary to supplement characters, to optimize book cataloguing rules, and to bet er maintain library col ections, etc.关键词
