广西喀斯特和红壤地区桉树人工林土壤理化性质对比研究
Comparative study on the physical and chemical properties of eucalyptus plantation soil in Guangxi Karst and red soil area

Abstract
Planting eucalyptus is an important way to restore and meliorate the ecological environment, overcome poverty in karst desertification areas. It is also a hot issue in scientific field. This article took Guilin, Husui of Guangxi as examples to contrast the effect of planting eucalyptus on soil structure and soil nutrient in different soil type (red earth and Karst soil). The results were: (1) contrasted with red soil, Karst soil had higher soil bulk density and non-capillary porosity, less capillary porosity and total porosity; (2) the capillary moisture of Karst soil was significantly less and the saturation moisture was basically the same; (3) the total nutrient of Karst soil was relatively higher and some kinds of available nutrient, especially K, were relatively less; (4) the pH and organic matter content were relatively higher. These results indicated that planting eucalyptus in karst area did not result in soil structure destruction and nutrient loss. However, Karst soil even had some advantages in eucalyptus planting. At last, some countermeasures about eucalyptus plantation management in Karst and red soil area were put forward.关键词
