生草栽培下果园土壤固碳潜力研究
Carbon sequestration capacity of soil in sod cultivation orchard
摘要
Abstract
Orchard is one important land-use type in red soil hilly region in southern China. But there still exist some serious soil erosion and land degradation problems in hilly orchards due to many factors, such as some irrational development, traditional extensive management, the lack of soil and water conservation techniques. Thus, exploring reasonable soil management measures, reducing soil erosion in orchard and increasing red soil carbon sink function, have been important issues facing by academia and production practices. So long-term experiment in red soil at in Youxi country, Fujian province was utilized to study effect of longitudinal clean tillage orchard, landings clean tillage orchard and orchard with Arachis pintoi mulch on soil organic carbon, and simple Jenny model was used to simulate dynamics of organic carbon. The results showed that after 14 years of cultivation, clean tillage treatments lead to an increase in soil bulk density, while soil bulk density in the orchard with living mulch decreased by 1.8%than the initial value before reclamation. Living mulch in orchard not only improved soil organic carbon content, and its soil organic carbon storage increased by 13.9% ~ 34.7% than those of clean tillage treatments, being significantly different from clean tillage treatments. The results also showed that the equilibrium value of soil organic carbon was 16.607~25.608 g/kg under the experimental conditions, taking the use of Jenny model to predict, and according the value, estimate the equilibrium value of soil organic carbon in the surface layer with grass cultivation is 54.801 t/hm2, its carbon sequestration potential was 24.695 1 t/hm2, which was 4.2 and 1.5 times bigger than those of the longitudinal and landings clean tillage orchard, respectively. Thus sod cultivation practices would intensify soil function as carbon sink.关键词
